Coil retention and flow diversion for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms

The successful treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms remains a challenge for even the most experienced physicians in the neurointervention field. NeuroNews interviewed Dr. Leif Sorensen to get his clinical experience with the 1st generation eCLIPs bifurcation system, which is designed specifically for the treatment of wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms. Dr. Sorensen details how the eCLIPs design has contributed to the low recurrence rate that he and his team have observed so far, “With the eCLIPs, we had no recurrences.
