Wieger Kaptein has worked with a number of US-based, global medical devices leaders, including, Cardiogenesis, Spectranetics, Angioscore,  Miracor, Infraredx, and The Medicines Company. His roles with these industry leaders ranged from organizing testing programs, liaising with medical professionals and hospitals, to selecting and leading sales forces with regional and global responsibility. He was a key influence on business and finance strategy, giving him in-depth knowledge of key elements such as pricing and production cost, product positioning, as well as access to key opinion leaders in the medical profession. Wieger received a Bachelor’s degree in hospital management at the Hogeschool Utrecht.
